Job Requirements
- No specific education requirement
- 3-6 months training or experience preferred
- may be required to have a valid driver’s license
- completed all safety and task training certification
- may be required to be forklift certified
- ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- ability to perform repetitive tasks
- able to work Sunday-Thursday 5:30PM-2:00AM
- ability to comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- ability to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- No specific education requirement
- 3-6 months training or experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- may be required to have a valid driver’s license
- completed all safety and task training certification
- may be required to be forklift certified
- bilingual a plus
- ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
- knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe, efficient use
Job Duties
- Perform janitorial duties
- perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
- perform hazardous waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste
- operate motorized cleaning equipment
- maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
- report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
- comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- stop at risk behavior of others and self
- perform work assignments in a team with other employees
- perform repetitive tasks
- maintain clean work area
- follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- take direction and respond to supervision
- talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
- fill in during staff shortage
- support shift lead in completing punch-list items
- use proper personal protective equipment
- present a professional appearance and conduct
- understand customer service and satisfaction
- understand reporting systems and of the environment
