Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain UO Driver’s Certification
- One year of cleaning experience in commercial, residential, or industrial setting
- Ability to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents and staff
- Willingness to maintain a respectful and inclusive workplace
- Availability during inclement weather and university closures as essential personnel
Job Qualifications
- One year of cleaning experience in commercial, residential, or industrial settings
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a safety-conscious workplace
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Competency in basic computer use including email and online training
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
Job Duties
- Perform custodial cleaning and sanitation duties in residence halls, apartments, and houses
- Comply with safety procedures and protocols
- Communicate with residents regarding cleaning and maintenance issues
- Move and arrange furniture for special functions
- Respond to emergency custodial needs
- Report and route resident concerns to appropriate channels
- Provide a safe and respectful work environment
