Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proof of MMR and Hepatitis B health record
- IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Ability to perform physical demands including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and fine finger dexterity
- Ability to work 80 percent walking and 10 percent standing
- Ability to follow safety practices and handle hazardous materials
- Willingness to work under direct supervision and follow standardized procedures
- Job related experience is desired
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
- Ability to follow safety practices and procedures
- Basic math skills including calculations using fractions, percents, and/or ratios
- Ability to operate job-related equipment
- Flexibility to work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with handling hazardous materials is desirable
Job Duties
- Assists students, parents, staff and visitors for the purpose of providing safe access to and from assigned location
- Assists with site dust and sand removal for the purpose of ensuring access and safety
- Cleans assigned facilities and/or grounds (e.g. classrooms, offices, gym, restrooms, multipurpose rooms, pools, drivers lounge, grounds, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive educational environment
- Communicates safety and security policies and enforcement procedures to students, staff and visitors for the purpose of ensuring their understanding of such information and the potential consequences of violation
- Delivers a variety of items (e.g. supplies, mail, packages, furniture, etc.) for the purpose of distributing materials to the appropriate parties within site
- Directs traffic for the purpose of ensuring the safety of students and other pedestrians
- Informs students and other site personnel for the purpose of providing information and direction regarding activities, safety issues and/or proper maintenance of facilities and equipment
