Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of custodian or equivalent experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
  • Capability to perform minor maintenance tasks
  • Ability to work on assigned shifts and in person at the 313 W. Winton Ave location

Job Duties

  • Clean assigned facilities and/or grounds for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive environment
  • Communicate using a variety of tools including email, phone, work orders, verbally, memos, two-way radios for coordinating activities, resolving issues and exchanging information
  • Operate machinery and tools such as shampooers, scrubbers, buffers, waxers to facilitate cleanliness and sanitation
  • Prepare site for daily operations including unlocking doors, attending to alarms, responding to site needs to ensure operational and hazard-free facilities
  • Replenish supplies and dispensers such as paper towels and soap to maintain adequate quantities
  • Perform minor building maintenance work to uphold facility conditions
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations within the facility
