Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- Willingness to engage respectfully with a vulnerable population
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of custodial experience preferred
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Basic understanding or willingness to develop an understanding of mental health issues
- Motivated and detail-oriented
- Experience using cleaning equipment such as vacuums and carpet cleaners
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact respectfully with residents and staff
Job Duties
- Complete deep cleaning and general upkeep of kitchen areas, common areas, and offices, including washing windows, cleaning baseboards, ceiling fans, the outside and inside of refrigerators, vacuuming, carpet cleaning
- Ensure trash and debris are cleared from around the building
- Ensure agency vehicles are clean and maintained
- Sweep and mop common areas, including kitchen floors, hallways, and bathrooms
- Ensure the Center has the cleaning supplies needed
- Complete any other duties as assigned or needed
