Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs
- knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices
- ability to work in varied weather and environmental conditions
- valid New Mexico Class D Driver's License
- successful completion of pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
- successful completion of criminal background check

- skill in operating cleaning equipment

- experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred
Job Duties
- cleans, sweeps, mops, and buffs floors
- vacuums and shampoos carpets
- dusts furniture and disinfects surfaces
- empties trash receptacles
- moves furniture
- replaces light bulbs and batteries
- cleans windows, window sills, and mirrors
- washes walls
- cleans, sanitizes, and stocks restrooms
- sweeps halls and outside walks
- prunes trees and shrubs
- mows and waters lawns and shrubs
- rakes and blows leaves and cuts weeds
- shovels snow from sidewalks and walkways and applies de-icer
- gathers recyclables and picks up trash from grounds
- performs single equipment repairs
- inspects and reports safety or maintenance issues
- opens, locks, and secures facilities and parking lots
- raises and takes down flag
- responds to public questions courteously
- completes work orders timely and efficiently
