Job Requirements
- Must be in good physical condition
- Must be able to follow basic instructions
- Must have pleasant personality and good prior work record
- Must be physically able to perform various custodial duties
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 100 pounds
- Knowledge of safe use and care of vacuum, buffer, mop, broom, carpet cleaner, paint brushes, and hand tools
- Knowledge of use and storage of cleansing agents, fuels, paint, and toxic agents
- Ability to work well with supervisors, co-workers, and the public
- Dependability and excellent time and attendance record required

- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning equipment and tools
- Knowledge of safe storage and use of cleaning agents and other chemicals

Job Duties
- Assist in maintenance of tile floors including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing
- Empty trash and straighten and dust lounge, lobby, offices, and activity areas
- Vacuum hallways, offices, and classrooms
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, commodes, stalls, and floors
- Check and refill soap, paper towel, and toilet tissue dispensers
- Remove litter from grounds and parking lot and maintain steps and walks
- Perform room set-up for meetings
- Move tables, chairs, and furniture as needed
- Assist with visitors and participants
- Perform other duties as assigned
