Job Requirements
- perform all floor cleaning and maintenance duties using ServiceMaster tools and procedures
- must achieve thorough understanding of floor maintenance procedures including stripping and waxing
- ability to operate various floor equipment and machinery
- maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- use proper PPE and safety equipment
- open and lock facilities enable and disable security system
- willingness to learn and strong work ethic
- ability to work in fast-paced multi-task environment
- respect and understanding for coworkers and customers
- physical ability to stand walk push balance stoop kneel crouch twist reach lift or carry up to 55 pounds
Job Qualifications
- minimum 1-2 years' experience as a floor technician highly desired but not required
- experience working for a professional janitorial or floor care company office complex hotel hospital or school is a plus
- ability to communicate in English
- ability to operate floor maintenance equipment
- ability to understand and follow cleaning instructions
- positive attitude and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- perform all floor cleaning and maintenance duties using ServiceMaster tools and procedures
- sweep mop polish vacuum and shampoo carpets
- strip wax and buff floors
- move furniture as needed
- disinfect floors with sanitizer and spot clean
- clean windows and perform pressure washing
- operate various floor equipment and machinery
