Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old for Custodian I
- Must be at least 18 years old for Custodian II
- Related custodial experience required for Custodian II
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record for Custodian II
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to perform physical labor
- Willingness to maintain professional and friendly demeanor
- Commitment to health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Custodian I: no education or experience required
- must be at least 16 years old
- Custodian II: related experience is required
- must be at least 18 years old
- must hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Daily cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, equipment and program supplies to maintain the health and safety of all participants and staff
- Basic custodial techniques including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, pressure washing, window washing, carpet cleaning, etc.
- Maintaining a helpful, professional and friendly attitude toward facility users and staff
- Operating cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Reporting maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
- Assisting with setup and teardown of facilities for programs or events
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines
