Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to pass a tuberculosis examination
- completion of Live Scan fingerprinting
- eligibility to work in the United States as verified by I-9 documentation
- willingness to adjust work schedule based on department needs
- ability to work evening shifts
- submission of official college transcripts if applicable
- professional evaluation of foreign degrees if applicable
- adherence to district policies and collective bargaining agreements
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
Job Duties
- perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
- sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- set up and tear down rooms for events and meetings
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all assigned facilities
- respond to department needs by adjusting work days and hours as required
- comply with district policies and procedures
- work collaboratively with other staff and departments
