Job Requirements
- full-time availability for 40 hours per week
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- strong physical endurance including lifting, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and scrubbing
- must have a valid driver’s license from Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia
- qualified to conform to university driving policy
- ability to follow safety rules and regulations meeting state, federal, and local government guidelines
- ability to sit, walk, and stand while working
- good customer service skills
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- performs general and specific cleaning and maintenance tasks to provide a clean, safe and pleasant physical environment
- furniture moving, office cleaning, classroom cleaning, restroom cleaning, exterior entrances cleaning, emergency support, floor care, supporting special event setup and breakdown, cleaning all public spaces
- availability and willingness to work during emergency situations such as staffing shortages and snow removal
- performance of duties involving using tools, equipment, and supplies of the trade
- working professionally as part of a team while complying with university policies and practices
- providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude
