Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or vocational school
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to perform basic math and basic measurements
- Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, crouch, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and reach with hands
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and overtime as required

- Ability to apply basic logic or reason in routine and non-routine functions of operation, maintenance and construction

- Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions including exposure to noise, weather, fumes and chemicals
- Reliability and good attendance
Job Duties
- Perform a broad range of cleaning and minor maintenance services for the Property Services Section of the department
- Clean, dust, vacuum, polish and wash ceilings, floors, walls, furniture, bathrooms, kitchens, rooms, corridors, windows, doors, stairways, seats, restrooms, sinks, commodes, base boards, tables and any other associated equipment and fixtures
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip all floor surfaces on a daily basis or as needed
- Collect garbage from offices, concessions, conference rooms, programming rooms, maintenance buildings, windows, doors, ground litter and transport to proper location
- Replenish disposable supplies such as toilet tissue, soap, paper towels, scent, urinal blocks
- Use equipment and supplies properly in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Clean, maintain and store equipment after use
- Keep up with inventory of all janitorial supplies and report reorders as needed
- Report problems to supervisor if required
- Assist in or assume work duties and tasks normally designated to other maintenance staff members during work hours as needed for grounds and fields
- Maintain current knowledge of all department policies and procedures including health codes, safety codes, personnel codes, attendance
- Perform any other operational duties as required
