Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in custodial or maintenance roles preferred
- Ability to perform manual labor and routine inspections
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and operate maintenance equipment
- Willingness to travel between district sites as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred
- Ability to operate tools and equipment associated with custodial and groundskeeping duties
- Knowledge of cleaning industry standards and safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor
- Ability to wear and use personal protective equipment
- Basic understanding of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and machinery
Job Duties
- Perform cleaning activities to buildings, sites, equipment, and assist Facilities Maintenance Technicians
- Perform cleaning duties according to District Cleaning Plan and cleaning industry standards including spill cleanup, biohazard cleaning, debris removal, sweeping and scrubbing concrete and asphalt, floor care, pressure washing, window cleaning
- Move and/or arrange furniture and equipment
- Load and unload supplies onto or from trucks
- Perform touch up and minor painting, remove graffiti
- Perform non-technical inspections on District buildings and sites
- Organize/maintain supplies and assist with proper care/storage of tools and equipment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
