Job Requirements
- Equivalent to eighth school grade
- Three months general custodial work experience
- May be required to have valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

- Some knowledge of cleaning equipment and procedures
- Ability to follow supervisory instructions
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Reliability and attention to detail
Job Duties
- Collects trash and transports it to compactor or dumpster
- Cleans and dusts furniture and other surfaces including window sills, doors, blinds, door jambs, TVs, mirrors, filing cabinets and desks
- Cleans and maintains restrooms including stocking paper towels, toilet paper and soap dispensers
- Vacuums carpets
- Sweeps and mops floors
- Performs special cleaning projects such as washing windows, thorough room cleaning, washing blinds, defrosting refrigerators
- Moves boxes, furniture and equipment
