Job Requirements
- No positive education requirement
- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning services
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment use
- Ability to use Property Management System or Point of Sale software
- Ability to operate in-room appliances
- Ability to complete daily housekeeping reports
- Ability to follow program policy guidance
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Good communication skills in English
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and approved chemicals
- Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets
- Knowledge of Recreational Lodging program standards
- Ability to operate in-room appliances
- Ability to use Property Management System or Point of Sale software
- Ability to complete daily room reports and housekeeping assignment sheets
- Ability to apply general cleaning procedures
- Ability to use common hand and power tools safely
- Ability to prioritize work respecting No Service/Do-Not-Disturb requests
- Effective communication skills in English both verbally and in writing
Job Duties
- Provide quality and efficient housekeeping services to guest or guest areas
- Use approved cleaning procedures and equipment
- Operate in-room appliances such as coffee maker, television, clock radio, and telephone
- Utilize Property Management System or Point of Sale software to update room status
- Complete daily room status reports and housekeeping assignment sheets accurately
- Interpret and execute cleaning actions in accordance with program standards
- Communicate clearly and effectively with management, staff, and guests
