The Naval Weapons Station Cheatham Annex, operating under the Fleet Readiness (N92) and Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), offers a range of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) services designed to support military personnel and their families. Among its diverse offerings, the Recreational Lodging program stands out as a critical component dedicated to providing comfortable and well-maintained accommodations to visiting guests. Job Requirements

  • No positive education requirement
  • Experience in housekeeping or cleaning services
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment use
  • Ability to use Property Management System or Point of Sale software
  • Ability to operate in-room appliances
  • Ability to complete daily housekeeping reports
  • Ability to follow program policy guidance
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • Good communication skills in English

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and approved chemicals
  • Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets
  • Knowledge of Recreational Lodging program standards
  • Ability to operate in-room appliances
  • Ability to use Property Management System or Point of Sale software
  • Ability to complete daily room reports and housekeeping assignment sheets
  • Ability to apply general cleaning procedures
  • Ability to use common hand and power tools safely
  • Ability to prioritize work respecting No Service/Do-Not-Disturb requests
  • Effective communication skills in English both verbally and in writing

Job Duties

  • Provide quality and efficient housekeeping services to guest or guest areas
  • Use approved cleaning procedures and equipment
  • Operate in-room appliances such as coffee maker, television, clock radio, and telephone
  • Utilize Property Management System or Point of Sale software to update room status
  • Complete daily room status reports and housekeeping assignment sheets accurately
  • Interpret and execute cleaning actions in accordance with program standards
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with management, staff, and guests
