MWR Recreational Lodging is a vital part of the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) program at the Naval Weapons Station Cheatham Annex, operating under Fleet Readiness (N92) and Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). This program offers a variety of lodging accommodations designed to meet the diverse needs of service members, their families, and authorized guests. Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Knowledge of Recreational Lodging program standards
  • Ability to operate in-room appliances
  • Ability to utilize Property Management System (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) system software
  • Ability to accurately complete daily room status reports and housekeeping assignment sheets
  • Ability to interpret, execute, and document cleaning actions in accordance with housekeeping manual and policies
  • Ability to safely use common hand and power tools
  • Ability to schedule and prioritize work while honoring guest service requests
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English verbally and in writing

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and approved cleaning chemicals
  • Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Knowledge of Recreational Lodging program standards
  • Ability to operate in-room appliances
  • Proficiency with Property Management System (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) system software
  • Ability to complete daily room status reports and housekeeping assignment sheets accurately
  • Ability to interpret and document cleaning actions according to program policies
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Job Duties

  • Provide quality and efficient housekeeping services to guest rooms and areas
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service while performing housekeeping duties
  • Operate all in-room appliances such as coffee makers, televisions, clock radios, and telephones
  • Utilize Property Management System (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) system software to update room status
  • Accurately complete daily room status reports and housekeeping assignment sheets
  • Interpret, execute, and document cleaning actions according to Recreational Lodging Housekeeping Manual and program policy guidance
  • Schedule and prioritize work assignments honoring No Service/Do-Not-Disturb requests while adhering to program standards
