Job Requirements
- No positive education requirement
- Experience demonstrating knowledge, skills, and ability in housekeeping and cleaning services
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and approved chemicals safely
- Ability to operate in-room appliances
- Ability to use Property Management System (PMS) and/or Point of Sale (POS) software
- Ability to complete reports accurately
- Ability to follow program standards and policies
- Ability to communicate in English effectively verbally and in writing
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and approved cleaning chemicals including Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Knowledge of Recreational Lodging program standards
- Ability to operate all in-room appliances
- Ability to utilize Property Management System (PMS) and/or Point of Sale (POS) system software
- Ability to accurately complete daily room status reports and housekeeping assignment sheets
- Ability to interpret, execute, and document cleaning actions in accordance with Recreational Lodging Housekeeping Manual and program policy
- Ability to apply knowledge of general cleaning procedures to complete housekeeping tasks
- Ability to safely and properly use common hand and power tools
- Ability to apply sound judgment to schedule and prioritize work assignments
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English verbally and in writing
Job Duties
- Provide quality and efficient housekeeping services to guest or guest areas
- Maintain the highest level of customer service
- Use proper cleaning procedures and equipment
- Operate in-room appliances such as coffee makers, televisions, and telephones
- Utilize Property Management System (PMS) and/or Point of Sale (POS) software to update room status
- Accurately complete daily room status reports and housekeeping assignment sheets
- Schedule and prioritize work assignments honoring No Service/Do-Not-Disturb requests while adhering to program standards
