Job Requirements
- Complete a background investigation with favorable results
- Meet physical ability to perform full range of assigned duties
- Be a U.S. citizen or a non-U.S. national who has resided in a U.S. territory for at least three consecutive years
- Register for Selective Service if male born after December 31, 1959
- Provide a REAL ID or authorized identity documents for installation access
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
- Accept direct deposit for pay
- Be willing to fulfill any required probationary period
- Meet all qualification, eligibility, and background requirements by closing date
- Understand this is a Non-appropriated Fund position supporting Morale, Welfare and Recreation activities
- Acknowledge no Permanent Change of Station costs will be authorized

Job Qualifications
- Ability to use hand or lightweight powered cleaning tools or equipment
- Ability to physically perform the full range of assigned duties
- No previous experience or training is required to qualify
- Ability to satisfactorily complete a Tier Level I/National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
- Open to everyone including veterans, military spouses, and those with transition hiring preferences
Job Duties
- Clean lodging guest rooms, corridors, stairways, facilities, and other assigned lodging areas
- Sweep, dry mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops, lightweight vacuum cleaners, and lightweight floor scrubbers and buffers
- Dust, wax, and polish furniture
- Clean and sanitize guest room appliances, cooking utensils, and dishes
- Empty wastebaskets
- Polish door knobs, handles and other metal fixtures
- Wash walls, windows, and blinds that can be reached unassisted or using stepping stools
- Change bed linen and make beds
- Collect soiled linen and place it at a pickup point
- Receive clean linen and deliver it where directed
- Update room status, occupancy, and checkouts using the telephone system
- Clean, disinfect, and deodorize lavatories, urinals, and toilet bowls
- Clean mirrors, sinks, and water fountains
- Dust ledges, woodwork, and furniture
- Replace room deodorizers
- Restock toilet tissue, hand towels, soap, and other complimentary sundry items
- Note condition of facilities and report to supervisor broken windows, water leaks, clogged drains, and other conditions requiring maintenance
- Keep a stock of cleaning materials and equipment needed to do the work
- Notify supervisor when more materials are needed or when equipment needs repair or replacement
- Perform other related duties as assigned
