Job Requirements
- Must pass all applicable records and background check
- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
- Must have salary sent to a financial institution by direct deposit or electronic funds transfer
- Position may require work on weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts with irregular hours
- May be designated ALPHA personnel for inclement weather or security reasons and required to report when others are excused
- Ability to perform moderately strenuous physical labor including lifting supplies and equipment up to 45 pounds unassisted
- Exposure to dirt, odors, and cleaning chemical irritants
- Use of personal protective equipment as required
- Completion of one-year probationary period may be required

Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and approved cleaning chemicals, including Safety Data Sheets
- Knowledge of operation of in-room appliances such as coffee makers, televisions, clock radios, and telephones
- Ability to utilize Property Management System software to update room status
- Ability to accurately complete daily room status reports and housekeeping assignment sheets
- Ability to interpret, execute, and document cleaning actions in line with housekeeping manuals and program policies
- Ability to apply general cleaning procedures to complete tasks
- Ability to safely and properly use common hand and powered tools
- Ability to prioritize work assignments while respecting no service/do-not-disturb requests
- Ability to navigate web-based Learning Management Systems and complete e-learning training
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English verbally and in writing with management, staff, and guests
Job Duties
- Perform varying degrees of complexity in cleaning processes
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Dust, polish, clean, and move furniture
- Remove trash, place in dumpsters, and replace liners
- Place proper number of amenities in rooms, including consumables/non-consumables, linen, kitchen, and bathroom items
- Remove and replace bed linens, inspect mattresses and sofas
- Clean walls, doors, ceilings, fans, light fixtures, air vents, windows, sills, tracks, blinds, and curtains
- Clean coffee makers, ice buckets, beverage kits, refrigerators, stovetops, cookware, utensils, cups, plates, sinks, counters, ovens, ranges, cupboards, drawers, and microwaves
- Ensure dishwashers are clean and functional
- Clean vanities, mirrors, cabinets, toilets, tubs, shower stalls, tiles, and exhaust fans
- Replace bathroom linens and shower curtains
- Clean irons and ironing boards
- Clean and maintain luggage racks and hangers
- Clean and ensure washers and dryers are operational
- Clean common area spaces including vending rooms, ice machines, laundry rooms, elevators, break rooms, corridors, stairwells, offices, lounges, and storerooms
- Perform deep cleaning as per program standards
- Count, sort, inspect, and prepare linens
- Apply Blood Borne Pathogen criteria and safety protocols
- Complete maintenance requests
- Stand, bend, kneel, walk, push, pull, lift, stretch, and climb as part of the physical job demands
- Perform basic maintenance on vacuum cleaners
- Maintain housekeeping and linen carts
- Report damages, valuables, unsafe or suspicious activity
- Interact professionally with guests and staff
- Communicate lost and found items
- Maintain key control and report issues promptly
