- dilute and use various cleaning and sanitizing solutions to disinfect items and/or remove stains on surfaces
- keep things neat, clean, and in order
- follow instructions and communicate effectively in English
- use and maintain required tools and equipment such as vacuum cleaners, brooms, and mops
- perform custodial duties without more than normal supervision
