Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent education
- six months of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment
- or six months of general work experience plus six months of custodial or janitorial experience
- or six months of experience as a Custodial Worker Trainee in Nevada State service
- or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- ability to work standing or walking for extended periods
- ability to push and pull
- ability to see, hear and communicate through speech
- ability to work with hazardous building materials and solvents
- readiness to work day or evening shifts Monday through Friday
- willingness to work as Weather Essential Personnel during adverse weather
- pass pre-employment controlled substance screening
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent

Job Duties
- Empty waste receptacles
- disinfect horizontal and vertical surfaces
- organize and stock supply closet
- dust and mop floors
- shampoo and vacuum carpets
- clean and sanitize restrooms
- clean hallways and rest areas/lounges
- perform pre and post event cleaning
- perform other duties as assigned
