Job Duties
- Clean general public use areas including offices, retail store, restrooms, classrooms, and locker rooms
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops, and other tools
- Clean and dust historic collection objects using proper conservation techniques
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and recycling to disposal areas
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers
- Report maintenance, repair, and safety concerns to the manager
- Respond promptly to emergency housekeeping requests
- Safely operate Foundation vehicles as needed
- Assist with guest room preparations including laundry, cleaning, and making beds
- Assist facilities staff with additional duties
- Perform other related duties as assigned
