Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
- At least 18 years of age
- Sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform tasks involving semi-reach to full-reach overhead, crouching, kneeling, carrying, working in narrow or confining spaces, twisting of waist, shoulders, and legs
- Ability to stand on concrete floors for one hour at a time
- Ability to use and tolerate safe cleaning chemicals
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions

Job Duties
- Respond to members' and guests' requests and questions in a helpful, courteous manner or refer to another staff member
- Collect, wash, fold and dispense towels to required locations
- Perform custodial tasks to ensure locker rooms remain neat and clean, including collection of discarded towels and trash
- Assist in keeping assigned areas clean, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash collection and specific upkeep and organization of fitness or residence areas
- Maintain awareness of environment to report and respond to suspicious or inappropriate behavior, safety issues, and emergency situations
- Attend required branch and in-service trainings
- Assist other staff when necessary, such as emergency situations and community events
- Perform other duties as required
