Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work full time with availability seven days per week including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment such as boots, gloves, and goggles
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with teams
- Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in various areas with changing start and end times
- Proactive communication and immediate reaction to situations
- Ability to use personal protective equipment, hand tools, power equipment, disinfectants, degreasing chemicals and cleaning products safely
- Willingness to receive additional specialized training in procedure and ergonomic principles
- Enthusiastic about guest interaction and service
- Ability to work independently and maintain quality in repetitious tasks
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment preferred
- Previous experience in a self-directed role requiring minimal supervision preferred
- Knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese languages preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all Front of House Guest areas
- Clean carpet vacuuming and shampooing in restaurants
- Clean carpets, stairways and maintain floor surfaces, walls, doors and windows in lobbies
- Completely clean, dry and disinfect all restroom fixtures and hard surfaces including floors and fixtures in restroom locations
- Clean and maintain off-stage support areas including offices, break rooms, restrooms, locker rooms in back of house locations
- Rinse and wash down all exterior Resort common walkways and hardscape areas and dry them
- Clean and maintain pool deck and furniture in pool area
- Clean walls, doors, windows and ceilings in all areas
- Work with other departments to complete activities in a safe manner
- Restock all supplies as needed
- Use specialized floor cleaning techniques and equipment
