Job Requirements
- Flexible and adaptable to work in various areas and conditions and changing start and end times
- Proactive in communicating concerns and responding to situations
- Must use personal protective equipment such as boots, gloves, and goggles
- Skilled in using hand tools like mops and brooms, power equipment, disinfectants, degreasing chemicals, and other cleaning products
- Willing to get dirty and clean up others’ messes
- Able to maintain quality while performing repetitive tasks
- Full availability seven days a week including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Enjoys cleaning
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment such as housekeeping, kitchen, or restaurant
- Previous experience in a self-directed role requiring little supervision
- Knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language preferred
- Enthusiastic about interacting and helping guests
- Self-directed and able to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all Front of House guest areas
- Carpet vacuuming and shampooing in restaurants
- Clean carpets, stairways, floor surfaces, walls, doors, and windows in lobbies
- Completely clean, dry, and disinfect all restroom fixtures and hard surfaces
- Clean and maintain off-stage support areas including offices, break rooms, restrooms, and locker rooms
- Rinse and wash down all exterior resort walkways and hardscape areas and dry them
- Clean and maintain pool deck and furniture
- Clean walls, doors, windows, and ceilings in all areas
- Work with other departments to complete activities safely
- Restock all supplies as needed
- Use specialized floor cleaning equipment and techniques
