Job Requirements
- Flexible and adaptable to work in various areas, conditions and changing shifts
- Proactive in communicating concerns and reacting to situations
- Must use personal protective equipment such as boots, gloves, goggles
- Must be able to operate hand tools, power equipment, and use cleaning chemicals
- Some roles require specialized training in procedure and ergonomic principles
- Willingness to clean thoroughly and handle messes
- Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Full availability including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Enjoys cleaning
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment such as housekeeping or restaurant cleaning
- Previous experience in a self-directed role requiring little supervision
- Knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language preferred
- Enthusiastic about interacting and helping guests
- Ability to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
- Proactive communication skills
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all front of house guest areas
- Carpet vacuuming and shampooing in restaurants
- Clean carpets, stairways, and maintain floors, walls, doors, and windows in lobbies
- Completely clean, dry and disinfect all restroom fixtures and hard surfaces
- Clean and maintain back of house support areas including offices, break rooms, restrooms, and locker rooms
- Rinse and wash down all exterior resort common walkways and hardscape areas
- Clean and maintain pool deck and furniture
- Clean walls, doors, windows, and ceilings in all areas
- Work with other departments to complete activities safely
- Restock all supplies as needed
- Use specialized floor cleaning equipment
