Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent diploma
- three years related work experience in school food service
- good physical health and ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- ability to bend, stoop, walk and reach overhead
- proficient in Word and Excel
- ability to operate a cash register
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- willingness to acquire continuing education hours
- ability to work effectively as part of a team

- proficient computer skills including Word and Excel

- budgeting skills
- personnel management skills
- willingness to attend summer workshops

Job Duties
- Provide direction and oversight of the school cafeteria
- plan and monitor daily cafeteria operations
- demonstrate leadership, organization and collaboration skills
- maintain food safety certification
- manage personnel and budgeting tasks
- complete required paperwork in compliance with SDE
- promote friendly service and a positive work atmosphere
