Job Requirements
- minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- three years of professional-level experience in facility operations or related area
- two years of supervisory experience
- bilingual in English and Spanish
- current and valid class 'C' driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety
- strong oral and written communication skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in art/arts administration, public administration, event management, facilities management, or related field
- master's degree in a related field preferred
- associate's degree plus five years of relevant experience may substitute bachelor's degree
- three years of progressively responsible professional experience in facility operations, venue management, or event operations
- five years of experience preferred
- two years of supervisory experience
- bilingual in English and Spanish
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work effectively as a team member

Job Duties
- oversee and manage day-to-day facility and venue operations for the Cultural Arts Division venues program
- ensure all cultural venues are fully operational, safely maintained, and properly staffed
- prepare venues to support rentals, programs, rehearsals, performances, meetings, and special events
- enforce policies related to building use, safety, rentals, and asset protection
- supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate venue staff
- manage scheduling and resource coordination to avoid conflicts
- collect and report monthly facility usage and rental revenue data
- monitor budget performance and assist in identifying funding needs
- serve as liaison between venue users and the city
- resolve operational issues to ensure effective venue coverage
