Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years in cultural or arts facility management
  • Experience supervising staff and contractors
  • Demonstrated ability to develop arts programming
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in budget development and monitoring
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in arts administration, cultural management, or related field
  • Experience in managing cultural or arts facilities
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Strong community engagement experience
  • Knowledge of event management and facility operations
  • Budget management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement an annual programming calendar
  • Oversee all performance and visual arts programming
  • Build and sustain partnerships with arts organizations and community groups
  • Design and execute promotional strategies with the marketing team
  • Establish and maintain policies for efficient and safe facility operations
  • Manage facility rentals and ensure client satisfaction
  • Serve as on-site lead for productions and events
  • Supervise in-house staff and contractors
  • Manage safety procedures and emergency protocols
  • Create and monitor programming and event budgets
  • Support teamwork and professional development among staff
  • Liaise between public agencies, private partners, and community stakeholders
