Job Requirements

  • Legally able to work in the United States
  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of public speaking experience
  • 2 years of in-person culinary, hospitality, tour guiding, activity coordination, or event coordinating experience
  • reliable transportation
  • valid driver’s license
  • insurance
  • ability and willingness to operate an electric pallet jack
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to work flexible part-time hours Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays as needed
  • ability to adapt to varying temperature and noise conditions
  • punctual and dependable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • some college or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ years of public speaking experience
  • 2 years of culinary, hospitality, tour guiding, activities coordination, or event coordination experience
  • volunteer experience preferred
  • bilingual ability (English/Spanish) preferred
  • ability to work with a diverse population
  • exceptional public speaking and presentation skills
  • strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and use sound judgment
  • professional composure and de-escalation skills
  • attention to detail and data analysis abilities

Job Duties

  • Proactively greet and welcome volunteers with warmth and enthusiasm
  • conduct engaging and fun orientation sessions for volunteer groups
  • lead volunteer projects with high energy and entertaining presentations
  • use storytelling and interactive activities to motivate volunteers
  • provide exceptional customer service and address questions or concerns
  • oversee volunteer activities ensuring safety compliance and efficient project execution
  • coordinate volunteer groups and manage last-minute changes and special events
  • communicate shift changes and updates to volunteers
  • maintain clean, organized, and well-supplied project areas
  • participate in team meetings to improve volunteer experiences
  • manage data entry and reporting of volunteer production
  • inspect finished products for quality assurance
  • report equipment issues promptly
  • demonstrate punctuality and dependable attendance
