  • Ability to follow recipes and cooking procedures
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and cutting
  • Willingness to work in hot and cold kitchen environments
  • Must not use drugs or alcohol on the job
  • Ability to safely handle kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh food items
  • Suggest ways to cook multiple fresh items for the same dishes at once
  • Create sauces or toppings for dishes and develop the dishes
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work station
  • Verbally receive and call back guest orders in an upbeat and friendly manner
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
  • Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
  • Practice proper knife handling
  • Cut, package, and prepare fresh meat products
  • Follow proper cooking procedures using standardized recipe cards
  • Utilize kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, fryers, slicers, choppers, and steamers
