Job Requirements
- 3 or more years of volume cooking experience
- Experience with recipe development and large batch cooking
- Demonstrated knowledge of cooking techniques, preparation, storage and sanitation
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
- Professionalism in difficult situations
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently
- ServSafe certification prior to hire
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in volume cooking in a similar or larger operation
- Knowledge of recipe development and large batch cooking
- Good understanding of cooking techniques, food preparation, storage, and sanitation
- Familiarity with food and beverage industry regulations including OSHA and health department standards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- ServSafe certification prior to hire
Job Duties
- Prepare and execute entrees according to recipe specifications
- Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and sanitation
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Assist in inventory management and food storage
- Follow federal, state, and local health and safety regulations
- Communicate professionally with guests, vendors, and other departments
- Participate in training and career development programs
