Job Duties

  • Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and meets quality and presentation standards
  • Make sure food and ingredients are properly labeled and stored to standards and maintain all required logs and temperature checks
  • Create positive associate relations that lead to high engagement and low turnover
  • Lead team in a fair, firm, and consistent manner
  • Ensure the team is well trained, knowledgeable of expectations, and up to date with certifications
  • Coach cooks on food preparation techniques and skills
  • Troubleshoot kitchen equipment issues and provide alternate solutions
