- culinary degree or equivalent experience
- minimum one year high volume kitchen management experience
- three years previous line experience preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to communicate and lead a team effectively
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- supervise hourly cooks
- produce consistent, quality food products
- assist in department training
- assume department responsibilities in the absence of the sous chef
- monitor payroll costs and overtime
- maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- communicate effectively with team members
