Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of line cooking experience
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • culinary degree or equivalent hotel industry experience preferred
  • proficiency in basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to train and lead team members
  • capacity to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • ability to use Microsoft Office products
  • willingness to work under moderate supervision
  • experience working in multiple kitchen stations

Job Qualifications

  • good communication skills
  • 2+ years of previous line experience
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • ability to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • commitment to guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • experience training and developing team members
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • ability to work multiple kitchen stations
  • ability to work under moderate supervision
  • flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • assist in supervising day-to-day culinary operations
  • produce consistent and high-quality food for banquets and restaurant
  • oversee training of culinary department staff
  • monitor payroll costs and control overtime
  • supervise hourly cooks
  • step in for Chef de Cuisine and Executive Sous Chef as needed
  • ensure food meets guest expectations and safety standards
