Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen preferred
  • Previous supervisory or lead cook experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Lead the kitchen team with energy and focus, ensuring top-quality, consistent food at every service
  • Inspire cooks and build a strong team culture centered on passion for food
  • Partner with Chef De Cuisine on menu execution, new dish testing, and continuous improvement
  • Support banquet production as needed while excelling in the restaurant environment
  • Take ownership of quality, training, and service standards
  • Prepare for career advancement within Hyatt
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in all kitchen operations
