Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Professional culinary training or equivalent experience
  • Food safety certification or ability to obtain
  • Previous experience in fast-paced, high-volume culinary environment preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50lbs and standing for long periods
  • Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
  • Must be available for all stadium events

Job Qualifications

  • Professional training through culinary education or experience in fast-paced, high-volume fine dining or catering facility
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials and services offered
  • Ability to obtain food safety certification
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced, team oriented setting
  • Ability to read, speak and write in English
  • Must have sufficient mobility for assigned tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling
  • Ability to lift, push and pull approximately 50lbs
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Availability for all stadium events including late nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Follow executive chef and or sous chefs assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation daily
  • Lead a team with respect and commitment to exceeding guest expectations daily
  • Perform daily uniform checks with staff and help chefs to maintain standards in the kitchen
  • Ensure assigned staff prepare food items complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures
  • Maintain HACCP standards ensuring high quality of food, food temperatures, rotation of product, cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen including walk in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls, floors and drains
  • Ensure all food preparation equipment is clean, sanitized and kept in safe and operable condition and report issues to chefs
  • Identify and store meats, poultry, seafood, pasta, starches, dairy products, and other food items according to established standards
  • Participate in monthly inventory for department of responsibility
  • Participate as a team player with responsibilities related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of product
  • Adhere to Legends uniform and grooming guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
