Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- professional culinary training or relevant experience in fast-paced high-volume settings
- excellent communication skills
- physical ability to lift and move food items up to 50 pounds
- availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, bending and pulling
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in high-end culinary environments
- preferred food safety certification
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- professional training through culinary education or experience in a fast-paced high-volume fine dining or catering facility
- full service casual dining experience preferred
- ability to interact effectively with co-workers
- extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus and services
- ability to assure compliance with service standards and inventory procedures
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
- ability to multi-task in fast-paced team environment
- ability to read, speak and write English
- ability to lift and transport items up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- flexibility to work extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- mobility for physical tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling
- 2 to 3 years experience in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant
- food safety certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Set up and prepare all food items
- perform opening and closing duties
- replenish and rotate stock as directed by the Executive Chef
- set up non-food items for shift
- maintain high level of sanitation awareness
- input daily event sheets and reports
- produce menu items in a timely manner and according to company standards
- follow directions precisely and consistently
- maintain work area and proper food storage
- adhere to company guidelines and house rules
- work as a team with fellow associates and other departments within the arena
