Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years in a high-volume banquet kitchen preferred
  • Previous supervisory or lead cook experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required
  • Flexible schedule including AM PM weekends and holidays
  • Passionate about food flavor and execution
  • Hungry to learn grow and succeed
  • Ability to lead and inspire a culinary team

Job Duties

  • Lead banquet kitchen team with energy and focus ensuring top-quality consistent food at every service
  • Inspire cooks and build a strong team culture centered on passion for food
  • Partner with Sous Chefs and Executive Chef on menu execution new dish testing and continuous improvement
  • Take ownership of banquet operations from prep to plating ensuring seamless service for diverse events
  • Take ownership of quality training and service standards
  • Prepare for the next step in Hyatt career by developing leadership skills and culinary expertise
