Job Requirements

  • must have a minimum of 2 years culinary experience
  • culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • must be physically able to stand for entire shift
  • must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate weights
  • flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • good communication skills
  • ability to train and work on any cooking line or department

Job Qualifications

  • ability to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • experience supporting multiple hot cooking stations

Job Duties

  • oversee daily kitchen operations and food production
  • ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of menu items
  • support and train culinary staff across all cooking lines and departments
  • act as the key point of contact in the sous chef’s absence
  • monitor and control food costs and inventory
  • maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety according to Hyatt policies
  • foster a positive and professional work environment
