Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
- completion of sanitation training required
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to manage and motivate a team
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- basic math skills
- capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
- completion of a sanitation course prior to or within first year of employment
- skilled in managing a food service program to optimize costs and efficiency
- ability to perform basic mathematical computations
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- capacity to regulate emotions under pressure
- skill in addressing interpersonal conflicts effectively
Job Duties
- Create and manage employee schedules
- compile production packets
- supervise day-to-day tasks to guarantee efficient operations
- uphold food safety and quality standards
- ensure proper food storage and adherence to serving times
- maintain hygienic work environment
- ensure accurate completion of food safety records
- update inventory weekly
- keep equipment maintenance records
- perform routine equipment inspections and suggest upgrades
- monitor and assess staff performance
- provide guidance and support to staff
- maintain a safe work environment
- cover for absent staff as needed
- communicate regularly with employees
- participate in food service meetings
- encourage positive relationships with team and clients
- manage daily catering schedules
- work sporadic evening and weekend catering events
- perform cashier duties
- assist with additional projects as assigned
