Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
  • completion of sanitation course required
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • basic math skills
  • flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • ability to organize schedules and manage production processes
  • reliable and detail-oriented

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
  • completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
  • skilled in managing a food service program to optimize costs and efficiency
  • ability to perform basic mathematical computations
  • effective organizational skills and attention to detail
  • capability to regulate emotions under pressure
  • skill in addressing interpersonal conflicts effectively

Job Duties

  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • compile production packets
  • supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient functioning
  • uphold food safety and quality standards
  • maintain secure and organized food storage
  • ensure meals are served according to menu and safety protocols
  • maintain hygienic work areas in compliance with health regulations
  • accurately record food safety data and address issues
  • update inventory weekly
  • keep records of equipment maintenance
  • conduct routine maintenance inspections and recommend upgrades
  • monitor and assess staff performance
  • provide guidance and support to food service staff
  • maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment
  • cover for missing staff as needed
  • communicate regularly with employees
  • participate in staff meetings
  • foster positive relationships among team and clients
  • oversee daily catering schedules and ensure timely delivery
  • work sporadic evening and weekend catering events
  • perform cashier duties
  • assist with special projects as directed by management
