Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
  • completion of sanitation training
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • physical capability to perform duties
  • commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of a sanitation course within the first year of employment
  • proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
  • ability to manage a food service program efficiently
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to regulate emotions under pressure
  • skill in addressing interpersonal conflicts effectively
  • basic mathematical skills

Job Duties

  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • compile production packets
  • supervise day-to-day tasks to guarantee efficient functioning
  • uphold food production safety and quality standards
  • ensure secure and organized food storage
  • maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
  • manage inventory updates and record equipment maintenance
  • monitor and assess staff performance
  • provide guidance and support to food service staff
  • maintain a safe work environment
  • cover for absent staff
  • communicate regularly with employees
  • participate in team meetings
  • foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • coordinate catering schedules for events
  • work evening and weekend catering functions as required
  • perform cashier duties
  • assist with projects as assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
