Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
  • completion of sanitation training
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • basic math skills
  • physical ability to perform job duties including standing for extended periods
  • commitment to upholding health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
  • completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
  • skilled in managing food service programs to optimize costs and efficiency
  • ability to perform basic mathematical computations
  • strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • ability to manage emotions effectively under pressure
  • skills in addressing interpersonal conflicts efficiently

Job Duties

  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • compile production packets
  • supervise day-to-day tasks to guarantee efficient functioning
  • uphold food production safety and quality standards
  • ensure proper storage and handling of food products
  • maintain hygienic work divisions in compliance with health and safety laws
  • complete accurate food safety and temperature records
  • maintain inventory with weekly updates
  • keep records of equipment maintenance needs
  • implement routine inspections and recommend upgrades
  • monitor and assess staff performance
  • provide guidance and support to food service staff
  • maintain a safe working environment
  • cover for absent staff as needed
  • communicate regularly with employees
  • participate in team meetings
  • foster positive relationships with team members and clients
  • stay updated on catering schedules
  • prepare for evening and weekend catering events
  • perform cashier duties
  • assist with projects as required by management
