Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service management or supervisory roles
- completion or willingness to complete sanitation training
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong communication and leadership skills
- basic math proficiency
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
- completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
- skilled in managing food service programs to optimize costs and efficiency
- ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to regulate emotions effectively under pressure
- skill in addressing interpersonal conflicts efficiently
Job Duties
- Create and manage employee schedules
- compile production packets
- supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient functioning
- uphold food production safety and quality standards
- maintain safe and organized food storage
- ensure meals are served according to menu requirements safely and accurately
- uphold hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety regulations
- accurately complete food safety and temperature records and address issues
- update inventory weekly with accuracy
- keep records of maintenance needs and suggest equipment upgrades
- monitor and assess staff performance
- provide guidance and support to food service staff
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- cover missing staff when necessary
- maintain regular communication with employees
- participate in team meetings
- encourage positive relationships among team members and clients
- manage daily catering schedules and prepare for events
- work occasional evening and weekend catering functions
- perform cashier duties
- assist with additional tasks as directed by Food Service Director or Manager
