Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three years of experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Minimum six months supervisory experience
  • Valid food and beverage service worker permit, where applicable
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Three years experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Six months to one year in a supervisory position
  • Some wine and fine food knowledge helpful
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • Effective communication skills with public and team members

Job Duties

  • Manage kitchen food service operations
  • Oversee and coordinate culinary staff activities
  • Ensure meals meet quality standards in a la carte and banquet settings
  • Manage inventory and control food costs
  • Develop and implement new menu items
  • Train and mentor culinary staff
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and health standards in the kitchen
