Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of experience in the food and beverage industry
- Minimum six months supervisory experience
- Valid food and beverage service worker permit, where applicable
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Three years experience in the food and beverage industry
- Six months to one year in a supervisory position
- Some wine and fine food knowledge helpful
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
- Effective communication skills with public and team members
Job Duties
- Manage kitchen food service operations
- Oversee and coordinate culinary staff activities
- Ensure meals meet quality standards in a la carte and banquet settings
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Develop and implement new menu items
- Train and mentor culinary staff
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and health standards in the kitchen
