Job Requirements
- Prior supervisory and culinary service experience
- Knowledge of dining etiquette, food handling and sanitation
- Professional cooking experience
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- At least two years cooking experience in hospitality
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism
- Strong communication skills
- Effective leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage purchasing and cost control
- Capacity to handle physical demands of the kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior supervisory and culinary service experience in hospitality industry
- Fine dining experience preferred
- Knowledge of dining etiquette and food handling techniques
- Strong customer service skills
- Professional cooking experience
- Knowledge of food service sanitation techniques
- ServSafe Certification strongly preferred
- At least two years experience cooking in hospitality industry
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Job Duties
- Purchase all food products and cleaning supplies as directed
- Ensure food and supply stock is maintained
- Stand in to actively cook during peak times and special events
- Maintain organized production and regulatory record keeping
- Process invoices timely and monitor costs
- Review and be familiar with residents' dining restrictions
- Manage and schedule kitchen staff for efficiency
- Ensure food consistency and solicit resident feedback
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and safety
- Assist in hiring, timekeeping, performance appraisals and management
- Assist with other duties as assigned by Culinary Service Director
