Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years experience in food and beverage industry
  • supervisory experience of six months to one year
  • food or beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • willing to work flexible hours
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • pass pre-employment drug test and background check

Job Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in the food and beverage industry
  • six months to one year in a supervisory position
  • some knowledge of wine and fine food helpful
  • read, write and speak English fluently
  • food or beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members

Job Duties

  • manage kitchen food service operations
  • coordinate activities of culinary staff
  • ensure meals are prepared to highest quality standards
  • manage inventory and control food costs
  • develop and implement new menu items
  • train and mentor culinary staff
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • comply with health and safety regulations
