Job Requirements

  • Completion of high school education or the equivalent certification of a G.E.D.
  • At least 12 months of relevant culinary work experience
  • Ability to follow cooking recipes and guidelines accurately
  • Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • No prior supervisory experience required
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of high school education or the equivalent certification of a G.E.D.
  • A minimum of 12 months of applicable work experience
  • Ability to follow cooking guidelines and meet presentation expectations effectively
  • Lack of supervisory experience is not a barrier
  • Competency in performing well independently and within a team environment

Job Duties

  • Arrange ingredients by measuring, chopping, washing, peeling, and storing food items adequately
  • Utilize recipes and preparation guidelines to weigh, measure, and combine various ingredients
  • Use a combination of kitchen devices like ovens, stovetops, griddles, deep fryers, and microwaves to cook meals
  • Arrange chilled dishes and uphold consistent food display according to quality benchmarks
  • Embrace a professional demeanor and appearance by wearing a well-kept and proper uniform
  • Partner with team members, use strong communication skills, and actively contribute to a harmonious work setting
