Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- current Food Handlers Certificate
- minimum one-year related experience
- ability to read, write and understand business documents which are written in English
- ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors and co-workers
- ability to make self clearly understood by others
- knowledge of and ability to learn food serving, cleanliness and sanitation requirements
- ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds continuously to move food service and preparation equipment and other objects
- ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
- ability to turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, stand and walk over 75% of shift

Job Duties
- Set tables

- wash off tables after meals
- prepare beverages and food as required
- serve food in dining rooms or other areas
- serve beverages to residents
- blend food in electric blender
- prepare steam table
- prepare hot cart and serve food
- clean and sanitize carts
- wash dishes
- scrape and rack dishes
- sort
- stack
- store clean dishes
- mop
- sweep
- clean work area
- take out trash
- wrap silverware
- receive and store groceries
- date and rotate canned goods
- detect, correct, and/or report situations that could cause accidents or injuries
